“Sex is back!”

Quite a controversial entry title, I know. Especially given my conservative nature :p But I just had to pay tribute to Dave Kenneth “Sex” Soller, one of the weirdest, most un-talented, and therefore memorable auditionees of the show “So you think you can dance?” (and yes, Sex is his nickname. Even his mom calls him that).

After nearly 2 years of silence, I will attempt to revive this blog. Like “Sex”, I am back. Hopefully for good.

You know those “Choose your own Adventure” books you used to love when you were a kid?

There’s an online version. A better kind!

What makes it better, you say?

1. It’s made by artists! Meaning yes, all “choices” and “endings” are illustrated!

2. You can actually contribute! All you have to do is email your image to them, and tell them where it fits into the story!

Even though I’m no artist, I decided there was no harm contributing to this interesting project. So, ta-dahh. Yellow-eyes was born:

I don’t know if they’ll actually put it into the site, seeing how crappy it is as compared to the other artworks. But hey, at least I tried. :-p

Audio for Drinking
If you’re a bit adventurous with your music picks, Audio for Drinking is the site for you. It has everything from hiphop to the blues to indie pop, but none of the usual of course. While the free music is usually in streaming format and not in downloadable form, it’s still worth knowing that such artists exist.

Out the Other
I absolutely love this site! Mostly because I fell in love with a lot of songs and bands featured on this radio show’s website. My top favorites? The Boy Least Likely To, The Autumn Defense and of course, what led me to them in the first place, The Guillemots. Make sure to check out the material these bands have both in and out of the site!

3. Lose 10 pounds and keep it off – haven’t even started!

6. Figure out what the hell I want to do with my life!
